Community Center Rental
Maximum capacity is 299 people. This is per fire code and non-negotiable. The Merrill Fire Department and Town of Merrill reserve the right to check attendance at events.
No. Garbage bags and cleaning products/mops/brooms are supplied.
No. The Town of Merrill has the ability to book back-to-back events. For this reason, the hall must be cleaned the same day of the rental.
Yes. The west end of the hall is set-up to handle the electrical needs of a band or DJ.
Yes. If you need a microphone, please indicate that on your rental agreement. It is available for meetings and select other events. It is not available for weddings or parties.
Yes. All state statutes apply. If you sell alcohol, you must have a licensed bartender on-site at all times.
Yes. You can have anyone you'd like cater your event. The Town of Merrill does not sponsor or endorse any particular caterer.
Yes, but ALL small appliances must be plugged into appropriate kitchen outlets ONLY. Not following this procedure could result in tripping the breakers. You do not have access to the mechanical room and would be required to try to contact a Town of Merrill representative.
There is a refrigerator with a top freezer. There is not a stove. There is a microwave.
Yes. There is a large, covered patio area on the north side of the building. Weather permitting, there are six picnic tables in this area.
Beer wagons are allowed to be parked on the patio area on the north side of the building. When not attended, they must be locked. The use of grills, either gas or charcoal is strongly discouraged. If these items are used, they should be used in the grassy area on the north side of the building, far away from the building. This also applies to pig/corn roasters.
You must pick up a key from the community center office during regular office hours beginning April 29, 2013. Calling on a weekend or the day of your event is NOT an option.
It is 100 feet long by 50 feet wide.
No. Pets are not allowed on town property or in the building.
No. Smoking is allowed outside in designated areas with the use of proper receptacles.
No. Fireworks of any type are strictly prohibited on town property.
There are enough chairs to seat 299 people. There are approximately 36 tables available. Eight chairs per table. Tables are 8 feet long and 30 inches wide.
